During the past two years, I've written a number of enterprise software buyer's guides-covering the important software categories within the enteprise software space-for the TechMatch Pro Web site. Below are links to the various software guides that I've produced.
Business Intelligence
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
Human Capital Management (HCM)
Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
Manufacturing Intelligence
Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
Supply Chain Management (SCM)
I want to thank the publishers of TechMatch Pro for allowing me to link to these guides.
I’ve written about Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software for more than a decade. Over that period, I have written at least a dozen magazine features on PLM for leading publications such Manufacturing Systems, Managing Automation, Automation World, and Software Strategies.
PLM describes the engineering aspect of a product from managing descriptions and properties of a product through its development and useful life. I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing hundreds of leading PLM industry executives, software engineers, and end users about the real-world application of PLM software.
In 2011, I wrote the PLM Buyer’s Guide for Managing Automation‘s TechMatch Web site. The PLM Buyer’s Guide provides a comprehensive look at PLM software as well as an overview of the key industry providers and their product offerings.
You can find other examples of my coverage of PLM software in the sidebar under articles authored by Marty Weil.
In 2011, my work was published in several national business publications, including Managing Automation, Scholastic Administrator, T.H.E. Journal, and Data Center Management. Below is a complete list of the articles published under my byline in 2011:
My most recent “Personnel Data” column in Data Center Management discusses the online tools and techniques that HR managers can access to help them overcome the industry’s looming talent shortage. The column explains how HR recruiters use online resources to find data center management talent to fill positions that require very specific technical skills.
